Mike's Furniture Restoration & General Woodworking started out as a hobby some years ago, where I built furniture for my home. When I retired from my professional career I decided to continue with my hobby but this time as a supplement to my retirement.
My work is mostly on old furniture that is not bigger than 3 feet by 3 feet by 4 feet in overall size, mainly due to weight, the fact that I work alone and  being not as strong as I once was.
I enjoy taking the old furniture, making the transformation and then seeing the reaction of the customer when the refurbished work is revealed to them; very satisfying.
